Table of Contents

Levopront is a brand name of the medication levodropropizine, which is a cough suppressant. It is used to relieve dry, non-productive coughs, such as those caused by allergies or the common cold. Levopront works by blocking the cough reflex at the peripheral level, meaning that it does not affect the central nervous system. This makes it a good choice for people who are sensitive to the side effects of other cough suppressants, such as drowsiness and dizziness.
