Canex T is a Canex T medication. It is used to treat yeast infections.
Oral Canex T is used to treat and prevent yeast infections of the mouth and throat.
Canex T may also be used for purposes other than those listed in the Canex T guide.
Canex T side effects
Stop taking Canex T and seek emergency medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction.
Side effects are not likely to occur with Canex T. Continue to take Canex T and talk to your doctor if you experience
- nausea or stomach upset,
- vomiting,
- itching, or
- an unpleasant sensation in the mouth.
Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.

Canex T dosing
Usual Adult Dose for Oral Thrush:
Treatment: 10 mg troche orally 5 times a day for 14 days.
Prophylaxis: 10 mg orally 3 times a day for immunosuppressed patients that include chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or steroid therapy utilized in the treatment of leukemia, solid tumors, or renal transplantation. Continue treatment for the duration of chemotherapy or until steroids are reduced to maintenance levels.
Usual Pediatric Dose for Oral Thrush:
Greater than 3 years:
Treatment: 10 mg troche orally 5 times a day for 14 days.
